Zrce is a long pebble beach situated in the center of the Adriatic Sea, on the Croatian island of Pag. It’s located on the northeast side of the island Pag in the bay Zrće, only 2 kilometers away from the city of Novalja. Zrce beach is only 50 kilometers away from the city of Zadar, one of the major cities in the area. Zadar is connected via the highway, airport and the port with the rest of Croatia, Europe and the world so there’s no problem getting there.
Zrce beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Novalja. It’s surrounded by pine wood and separated from inhabitated areas that is good for all those party people who can party there as loud as they want without neighbours complaining about the noise. In the peak of the saeson the beach can fit up to several thousand people.
In the year 2002. the Croatian Tourist Board and the media “Blue Flag” declared Zrce as the most beautiful and the most developed, tidiest beach on the Adriatic sea. 2003. the beach satisfied all the criteria needed for the “Blue flag” and got it for its natural beauty, amenities, facilities and high equipment.
On the beach there are deckchairs, umbrellas, showers, toilets, lifeguards, phones, restaurants, fast foods, clubs and a big parking space. There are also various recreational and entertainment facilities such as beach volleyball, water scooters, ski lift, scooters, rent a boat, water slides… If you don’t have a car, don’t worry, you can get to Zrce from Novalja by bus that runs about every 30 minutes during the whole day and night.
Zrce is a phenomenon of the Croatian tourism, called also “Croatian Ibiza” because the fun never ends there and everything is open 0-24 hours. On the beach there are lots of clubs like Kalypso, Euphoria, Aquarius and Papaya. The clubs offer lots of different events like parties and festivals with guest dj’s that are well known names in the world. There you can listen to some of the world’s famous dj’s like: Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Axwell and many many others.
